Our President, Jonathan Provost, started the company in 2009 at the age of 22. Jonathan was introduced to the construction industry at age 9 when his father, Eugene Provost, started a small construction business. Being exposed to this industry for most of his life, he used tools handed down by his father to go into business for himself. Jonathan started growing his brand while studying Civil Engineering at Old Dominion University. Provost began performing subcontractor work on multiple remodels and buildouts for Urban Outfitters. With years of hands-on experience under his belt, Jonathan Provost became the youngest Class A Contractor in the state of Virginia.

Since those humble beginnings, Provost Construction has grown into a reputable and sought-after contractor, licensed in 46 states, with a team of over 45 employees. Our experience includes a variety of skills from every craft and expertise in the field. We can self-perform many aspects of the project, resulting in a more predictable and tightly managed schedule. Our on-site Superintendents are OSHA 30 certified, First Aid and CPR certified, and equipped with the latest technology. This also allows us to combine innovative construction methods with accountable project management.
